Art Connections
Art Connections is a new project - initiated and managed by Chrysalis Arts - to develop and support creative businesses in the visual arts, crafts and public art sectors across North Yorkshire. Art Connections supplies a range of specialist training, mentoring, advice, information and marketing services and publishes a bi-monthly e-newsletter containing information from a wide range of visual art sources.

Print Yorkshire aims to ensure that the Print and Printed Packaging Sector in Yorkshire and the Humber maintains its position as a major national player. Through practical advice and support on training and development, grants and business networking, as well as marketing and communications, Print Yorkshire will increase regional collaboration, better develop supply chains, increase productivity and innovation with the application of new techniques and create greater regional strength in the printing industry.

The University of York - Creative Industries
The University of York has a reputation to rival Oxford and Cambridge. It is consistently ranked in the top ten universities for both teaching and research quality, with 18 out of 23 departments being judged as world class by the UK government's Research Assessments Exercise. With new expansions including a Theatre, Film and Television Centre, the University's contribution to the Creative Industries is going from strength to strength.
