Yorkshire Energy Partnership
The North Yorkshire Green Business Club promotes environmental awareness and best practice to businesses across North Yorkshire and York.
It provides information, advice and signposting to help businesses develop environmentally sound management practices and realise the business benefits of resource efficiency.
The club, managed by Yorkshire Energy Partnership - a not-for-profit company partly owned by City of York Council, is run through a membership scheme.
Members can benefit from free entry to six events throughout the year which provide information on funding, environmental regulation and other avenues of support.
Members also receive a quarterly e-newsletter to share best practice, outline any changes in regulations affecting small businesses, and provide web links to access further resources.
Additionally, one-to-one support can be accessed through a dedicated business support officer who will work with businesses to identify environmental issues and research solutions.
