York Economic Partnership
The York Economic Partnership was created by the City of York Council as an outcome of a recommendation which formed from an independent business led examination of the York economy and its future needs. The partnership (and its associated York Business Forum, which acts as the conduit between the business community and the council) is charged with delivering the Thriving City theme of the city's Sustainable Community Strategy. A high level cross section of the community's business interests are represented, developing policy and actions.
The partnership is chaired by Peter Kay, a partner in Ware & Kay Solicitors.
